I see there are already B747-400 performance files. However with the smaller hump, the 400F would have different values. Is it worth it requesting a performance files for the 400F?
Cheers,

in the old days i know at least one company that operated f and pax versions that used the same model for flightplanning. the perfs was tailored to each hull. but the base was the pax version.
but always good to have more perfs than not enough.

Hi 777drvr, yes indeed the performance of the 747-400F (the factory build freighters) is different, so well worth requesting . I have some versions on the list to do, for some reason I never got round to them yet. The converted -400 freighters still retain the stretched upper deck, so their performance is the same as the original passenger version.

Cool, in the mean time, I'll do APM's on the non "F" profiles for the freighters, as this is clearly not far fetched. Thanks to all.

Yes for the Boeing conversions (747-400BCF) or IAI/Bedek conversions (747-400BDSF) the passenger performance file for the appropriate engines can be used, weight limitations will need changing to match the conversion details.
I have completed a file for the GE-powered 747-400F today, and will upload it very shortly, RR and PW versions to follow.
